(October 7th Email)

Hey familia!

So this week was super busy. Not a lot of time to proselyte. We watched Meet the Mormons which was sweeeet! Way good. Then we did service at a local food bank for a few hours which was really fun and felt good. It is interesting to see the spectrum of gratitude of these people. It was great to help some neat people.

Conference was awesome as usual! It was so cool that some got to speak in Spanish. Really awesome experience. We watched it in english except for those talks and most of the Priesthood session! We watched it at our stake center (on Wissemann dr. and Folsom blvd.). It was really sad that we didn't have any investigators come. But hopefully church this week will work out! I really loved a lot the focus on personal conversion and not throwing away what we know just because of opposition. And of course the ones about missionary work! Elder Christofferson's was one of my favorites as well.

The hot weather is kind of getting annoying now ;) We talked to some black people and the lady was like "God is punishing California, this is the worst place I've lived! God is just saying 'ok, I'm gonna get you as close to hell as I can before I destroy ya, see if ya shape up" or something to that effect haha. But hopefully moisture will come around sometime.

We got to go to the temple this morning which was a huge blessing. I love it. It was really good for me.

Other than that we were just running around a lot! We talked to some interesting people. Probably the most drunk person I have met, he almost fell over multiple times and about threw up on us. I don't get alcohol. Our investigator Ramon is hilarious and keeps us laughing. Genaro and his family are really awesome and are going to be getting a date this week! That is exciting. They are a wonderful little family.

Well I love you guys! Stay safe and strong. I miss you guys so much! I am trying to be the best missionary I can. I love you guys and I am so thankful for all you have done for me. Love you!
(P.S. This week was transfer week, but Elder Graham and I are staying!)
